I am going to answer my own question but I would like to hear everyone else’s too. I would have to say my best advertising method for quite some time now has been the internet. Besides word of mouth, I get practically all of my new customers from the internet. I do not have any print advertising.
I would have to say also the best form of advertising is a good website. By having a good website you build customer trust in you without ever speaking with the customer. Some customers willo look at your website for months before making a call to get work done. It a salesman that never tires 24/7. If you were to invest money into advertising I would definitely make the website and seo a top priority. If you have good seo then most of your business will come from your website. Pace some free ads on craiglist or even some paid print ads. Send out some flyers and promititely display and send people to your website it will pay. Then of course once you get the customers always the top form of advertising is word of mouth
I would like to piggy back on dwj469 response, though lets leave out those S.E.O’s. I have many of clients that are in the industry of web development and all say SEO (Search Engine Optimizers). google is always and forever changing there algorithms and programming. not saying that they are totally worthless but it wouldn’t be a main necessity to include seo into your budget.
