I was wondering what other people are using for estimating and invoicing?
I was wondering what other people are using for estimating and invoicing? Do you use pre printed forms that are carbonless or do you use computer forms.
I use Quickbooks software. It’s not a perfect solution but it gets the job done. I have been giving some thought to using carbonless forms though.

LikeDislikeI tried Quickbooks but found it too confusing, not what I wanted, and the learning curve too steep. I designed my own forms in Excel – estimates, bids, invoices, etc. I have carbonless forms for my invoices for those people who pay when the job is done. (I do a lot of work for property managers that invoice in 15-45 days). I make a computer Excel invoice for all my customers (hard copies included) so I have a permanent record that is easy to search. I also use an Excel spreadsheet for my invoice numbers. This keeps my records and mind straight.
